Genetic Diversity In The Modern Horse Illustrated From Genome-Wide SNP Data: This study is the first detailed description of equine breed diversity, using a genome-wide set of autosomal SNPs in 814 horses from 36 breeds. The relationships between breeds were found to largely reflect geographic origins and known breed histories.
