MSTN Genotype Association With Speed Indices In Thoroughbred Racehorses: This study examined the association of myostatin genotype with speed indices in Thoroughbred racehorses. Horses with the C:C genotype obtained significantly higher speeds than T:T horses, accelerated more rapidly and covered a significantly greater distance before reaching maximal velocity.
